Descendants of the Lenca Indians - one of the main indigenous groups in Honduras - preserve their heritage by producing this extraordinary burnished pottery using unique techniques passed down through generations of women. Maintaining pre-Columbian aesthetics and crafting methods, each piece is hand-formed of clay, "reduction fired", and polished with a stone to produce a subtle shine.
