Gift Registry Help

Antiki Trading Company is please to offer our customers a Gift Registry service. This feature allows our customers to create a personal "wish list" of our products that they would like to receive. Many people use this service for weddings, birthdays, and holiday shopping ideas. We have added this service in such a way that it is easy for anyone to create a Gift Registry List and for others to view and purchase items from your list.

Creating a Gift List

To start creating your own Gift List you will first need to create an account. This can be done by clicking the "My Account" button at the top of any page, or by clicking here (all account information is private and will not be distributed in any way). Once you have created your account, you can begin to look through our store for items that interested you and add them to your list.

Adding Items to Your Gift List

It is very easy to add items to your Gift List. On each product detail page you will see a link that says "Add to Gift List". Clicking this will add the product to your list and bring up a page showing all the items you currently have in your list. This "editable" version of your Gift List is accessible only to you and only when you are logged into your account. At this point you can select the quantity of a product and add a comment that people who view your Gift List will be able to read. If you change your mind about a particular item you can also check a box to delete that item from your list.  When you have finished editing your selections, click the green "Update" button at the bottom of the screen to register your changes. Items added to a Gift List will remain until they have been purchased or will expire after 180 days.

Accessing and Editing Your Gift List

There are two ways to view and edit your own list. When you add a product to your Gift List you will automatically be transferred to your Gift List page where you can make any changes you like. If you are logged into your account, you can click the "My Account" button located at the top of any page and then select the "View/Edit my Gift List" link located near the top of your account information page. You can only access this page after you have logged into your account. From this page, you can send an email to your fiends and family containing a direct link to your Gift List along with a personal note.

Sharing Your Gift List

There are two ways to let people know about your Antiki Gift List. One way is to simply email your friends and family and tell them you have registered at www.antiki.com. At the top of every page is a "Gift Registry" button located along the green bar. Clicking on this button will direct them to our Registry Search page. From there, they can type your name into a search box and a list of matching names will be displayed (along with your city and state to avoid name conflicts). Your friends and family then click on your name and your personal Gift List will be displayed for them. Another option (for those around you who are technically challenged) is to send them a link that will take them directly to your Gift List. To do this, you must first access your Gift List (see above). At the bottom of your Gift List is a form that will allow you to enter an email address and a personal note from you. The recipient will receive your note along with a link that they can click on which will take them directly to your Gift List (if you would like to send this to multiple people, send the email to yourself and then use your email software to forward it to as many people as you like).

To purchase items from someones Gift List, you must first locate their list using the "Gift Registry" page. If the recipient has sent you an email with a direct link to their list, you can access their list simply by clicking on this link. Once you have located the correct list, simply check the small box to the left of each product that you would like to purchase. You may also adjust the quantity of each product at this time (if the recipient would like more than one of a specific product). Once you have finished making your selections, click the green "Add to Cart" button located at the bottom of the screen. This will take you to a page where you can view the individual items in your cart. At this point you can proceed to the checkout process or continue shopping. As items are purchased from a Gift List the quantities will decrease. When the quantity reaches zero, the item will be automatically removed from the Gift List to ensure that the recipient does not receive duplicate items.
